Niambi Jaha-Echols
About Me: Hey there! I'm an Author, Cultural Agility Strategist, Thought Leader, Cultural Intelligence Specialist, Spiritual Alchemist, and a certified Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath® Practitioner. For the past 30 years, I've been passionately working as a nationally recognized Transformation Advocate, training with Indigenous Shamans, spiritual teachers, and master Shadow Work practitioners. Experience: I'm the Founder and Chief Learning Officer of the Earth Purpose Institute for Divine Understanding, which is all about fearless, nurturing, and inclusive online learning. At Earth Purpose Institute, we take a holistic approach to personal growth, social transformation, and innovation, both in the community and the workplace. I'm also the mastermind behind the groundbreaking Pro-Inclusional Leadership™ Training Model. I'm also the CEO and Lead Consultant for Cross Cultural Agility, LLC. where I train, coach, facilitate, and consult individuals and corporations on issues supporting cultural intelligence and new pathways to inclusion. My expertise includes: executive coaching, cultural audits, facilitation/training, strategic J.E.D.I. (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) initiatives, and building inclusive leadership teams. I've worked with individual executives, teams, and organizations from around the world. As the Founder Emeritus of The Butterfly Movement, Project Butterfly, and Camp Butterfly, I've used the powerful symbolism of caterpillar/butterfly metamorphosis to spark emotional and spiritual transformation in countless women and girls worldwide. I've led the incredible Camp Butterfly summer camp from 2004 to 2015 and developed the widely acclaimed national Project Butterfly after-school program model, which continues to make a positive impact across the country. Writing is also my passion. I've co-contributed to the book "African Americans and Community Engagement in Higher Education" published by SUNY Press and I'm a regular contributor to the American Camp Association's Camping Magazine. I've also authored books like "Project Butterfly," "Inspiring the Souls of Our Girls," and "What Color Is Your Soul: Healing the Illusion of Our Separateness." Recognition: My work has been featured in Essence, Ebony Magazines, MSN.com, and even Oprah's Angel Network. I've been recognized by the State of Illinois and Essence Magazine as a woman who is shaping the world. Involvement: I've served on the American Camp Association's National Board of Directors for six years and I'm a faculty member of Expert Online Training. Additionally, I've been a member of the National Diversity Council. I've had the privilege of being a Professional Advisor to graduate students at DePaul University's School for New Learning, a circle facilitator for Inside Circle, and a virtual session facilitator for Unlikely Conversations. I've also served as a Program Faculty member for the Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone, NC. My Approach: Through my spiritually grounded perspective, I help participants in my programs transform and heal, raising their levels of unity consciousness. By addressing ancestral challenges, unconscious biases, and divisive mindsets with love, I guide individuals toward understanding who they are, releasing negative emotions, and recalibrating their personal and collective vibrations to higher levels of universal oneness. Personal Touch: Aside from my professional endeavors, I'm a licensed spiritual counselor, visual artist, wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. These roles and interests contribute to my well-rounded approach to life and work. |
