Niambi Jaha-Echols
Hi, I am an Author, Cultural Agility Strategist, Thought Leader, Cultural Intelligence Specialist, Spiritual Alchemist, Trauma-Sensitive HeartMath® Certified Practitioner, and have spent the past 30 years working as a nationally recognized Transformation Advocate. I am also the Founder and Chief Learning Officer of Earth Purpose Institute for Divine Understanding - a fearless, nurturing, inclusive, and uniquely transformative online learning environment. Earth Purpose Institute offers an integrated and holistic approach to personal growth, social transformation, and innovation - in both the community and the workplace. I am also the architect of the ground-breaking Inclusive Heart: Pro-Inclusional Leadership™ Training Model. As Founder Emeritus of The Butterfly Movement, Project Butterfly, and Camp Butterfly, I utilized the symbolism of the caterpillar/butterfly metamorphosis to foster emotional and spiritual transformation in women and girls. I also led the nationally acclaimed residential summer camp experience, Camp Butterfly from 2004 - 2015, and developed the national Project Butterfly after-school program model - which is still active in various schools and organizations around the country today. I am the founder and lead facilitator for Metamorphosize® where I continue to empower women who in turn empower girls. I am a co-contributor to the book, "African Americans and Community Engagement in Higher Education" published by SUNY Press and is a regular contributor to the American Camp Association's Camping Magazine. I am the author of "Project Butterfly", "Inspiring the Souls of Our Girls", and "What Color Is Your Soul: Healing the Illusion of Our Separateness". I have been featured in Essence, Ebony Magazines, MSN.com, and Oprah's Angel Network and has been recognized by the State of Illinois and Essence Magazine as a woman who is "shaping the world." I've served for six years on the American Camp Association's National Board of Directors and am a faculty member of Expert Online Training, and have been a member of the National Diversity Council. I have served as a Professional Advisor to graduate students at DePaul University's School for New Learning, served as a circle facilitator for the organization, Inside Circle, and a virtual session facilitator for Unlikely Conversations. Through my spiritually grounded perspective, I help participants in my programs transform and heal to higher levels of unity consciousness by lovingly addressing ancestral challenges, unconscious biases, and divisive mindsets. My retreats are designed to help people understand who they are, release negative emotions, and re-calibrate individual and collective vibrations to higher levels—ultimately back to our universal oneness. I am also a licensed Spiritual Counselor and a visual artist. |
